# 2FA feature to be introduced

**Description:**  
why MetaMask dont have 2 FA ?

**Purpose:**  
It seems many wallet are compromising day by day.

2FA is a false sense of security that can’t adequately protect blockchain accounts:

It can be used for withdrawls as confirmation. With this the sweeper bot cannot withdraw anything, only the user can do that because the user can confirm this with email, SMS or an authenticator app.
