Issue with adding a custom network in Metamask mobile but Chrome version works

So I have this issue where I am unable to add my custom network to MetaMask Mobile but I can do it perfectly fine in the chrome extension version.

What do I do?

I am running a custom Kaleido network, EVM compatible and I am 100% sure that the RPC is able to return the chainID as I have tested on ethers.js.

I suspect MetaMask mobile isn’t updated to accept authenticated RPC urls.
