With KYC becoming part of the enrolement to a crypto site and then purchasing tokens etc. I missed an opportunity to buy because a suspicious website app was alerted by the app and if you were to link manually it was wanting your seed. I obviously turned away!
Purpose:
Suggest have a list of approved apps that have a certification for KYC and an addition of a screen to the seed of extra characters is created that you would store externally and use perhaps a selection of 2 out of (say) 5 additional codes that would confirm identity when a KYC is requested but not reveal any of your wallet seed.

That is why I raised it too many alarms going off in my head. However if this procedure starts to become the norm then there needs to be a trusted mechanism. There are a lot of scammers out there. Shame I really thought that token I tried to buy might go far as well

I had a scraper bot and lost a lot but couldn’t get to remove anything because no gas.
How about an emergency gas tank that you could fill up separately and use that to pay for transactions to move things out or revoke contracts? I know that is not easy but it would be such a security feature.
