Description: Possible to scan a barcode straight from your gallery photos which are saved on the phone.
Purpose: To be able to scan a QR code from wherever possible and is more convenient. Other Wallets already support this and is easier to manage.

Hello! Which barcode/QR code do you mean? If you mean scanning from inside the MetaMask wallet, you usually can’t scan directly from the gallery because the QR code may contain fresh data from the dapp that’s needed to establish the connection.
If you mean scanning a QR code using your phone itself, you can usually scan it from your gallery. However, that may not work for connecting the wallet to a dapp.
Sorry for repost cause I couldn’t post photo but this is how it would look like from scanning QR code from wallet on mobile. I understand that the data only lasts for a while and have to manually scan again after a short time. It’s very convenient however without always having to go to my PC to scan a QR code when I can do it from my phone to connect to a dapp. Other wallets already support this feature like tonkeeper wallet.

Yeah, I think the main thing is that the QR in MetaMask is tied to the connection being created at that moment. If you save it and try to use it later, that connection may no longer be active, so the wallet might not be able to complete the connection.
Tonkeeper handles connections differently, which is why the QR behavior there doesn’t necessarily work the same way in MetaMask. Using a fresh QR each time basically helps make sure the wallet and dapp are both working with the same active connection.
Sorry for once again reposting a 3rd time, since it doesnt let me reply. What I meant to say is that if i can scan QR code from my phone without going to my PC every time. I use remote desktop on my PC and use my Phone to connect to my Crypto only PC. Whenever I want to connect to a dapp, I always have to go and manually connect to my pc since I cant scan QR code from MetaMask mobile using remote desktop. Have to physically go to my pc screen to scan qr code. if i could screenshot on my phone what I see of my PC screen, that would help a lot when im not always near my PC. I can screenshot only when i need to and it would let me connect every time using remote desktop this way. i dont plan on saving the qr codes. i screenshot once, connect to dapp, then delete screenshot. then repeat the same process if when needing to reconnect again from seeing my pc’s screen on my phone with remote desktop. Thanks.
Btw I use a hardware wallet is also why my setup needs something like this.

Yeah, I understand what you mean now. I think the QR scanning option is mainly designed for connection flows like WalletConnect, so if you take a screenshot and try to scan it from MetaMask, there could still be some connection issues and it might not work as expected.
I think this feature is mainly useful when you have a dapp open on your PC and want to connect it to your mobile wallet, without having to import your wallet into the desktop version again.
For using the same dapp on mobile, it might be easier to use something designed specifically for mobile instead. One option you could try is opening the dapp directly through MetaMask’s mobile browser. If the dapp works properly on mobile, you can connect your wallet directly without needing to scan the QR from your PC. 
Thanks for the feedback and good advice! Only thing about my setup is that I’m playing a crypto game with multiple accounts on my pc and need to be logged in for it to work. The Game/Dapp doesn’t work unfortunately in offline mode and have to leave the browser open on all my accounts and connected. Sometimes it disconnects and for me to connect again, I have to go back to my PC using my Hardware wallet. Which is why this feature if ever supported would be useful for Remote Desktop people who play games and are mining on their PC!

The ability to scan a QR code from a Gallery/Screenshot in MetaMask Mobile, AFAIK, this feature is not currently available in MetaMask - You’re requesting that MetaMask add this feature.
One potential concern is that you might forget to delete the screenshot afterward, leaving the QR code stored on their device or backed up to the cloud.
In addition to Oxsoltani’s great explanations, there may be a few other possible approaches:
- You’re currently using this option - Open the dApp on another phone, switch the browser to Desktop Site mode, display the WalletConnect/MetaMask QR code, and scan it with the phone that has the MetaMask app.
- Open the dApp directly on the phone with MetaMask installed, choose WalletConnect/MetaMask, it should connect using the deeplink option if available - You can use Chrome/Brave, etc, to load the dapp site & You should be able to connect to multiple accounts through multiple browsers.
- Use the WalletConnect URI instead of the QR code. However, I’m not sure if MetaMask Mobile currently provides a direct way to manually paste/import a wc: URI. The wc: format is the WalletConnect pairing URI, and it normally needs to be consumed through a supported deep link or by scanning the QR code.
Yea, if a feature like this existed, it would be a life saver! It exists in other wallets but having it in MetaMask mobile would make it easier and better!
