Description

At the moment, switching between accounts and making basic actions related to them requires tedious amount of work. In this topic I propose several small changes which will improve the UX drastically.

Problems

  1. Clicking on the Accounts list doesn’t load from the currently active wallet. Instead the list is opened at the top - from Account 1. The user must scroll the the active wallet manually.

  2. At the moment, the user must do 5-7 steps to open the block explorer for the current account.

Solution to abovementioned problems

  1. Add arrows to allow easy navigation between previous/next account.
  2. Add a “View in explorer” button next to “Copy to clipboard”
  3. When user clicks on the Account list, the currently active account must be instantly

Great Idea! This was what I came here looking for answers to.

Great UX improvement.
I can’t believe that the MetaMask team didn’t think about the “View in explorer” button.
