It seems that it’s not a technical issue. If it was the case, the feature would have already been implemented. I can’t imagine your devs are not able to do it safely within 2 years… or we have another issue here… 
Last year you said that it was for 2022.
Why don’t you just say that it’s not MetaMask stragegy to implement it. You may have your reasons and everyone could accept it but please, don’t let people wait like this…
