ETH 2.0 launch, What happens to ETH in my wallet?

What happens to my ETH when ETH2.0 launches?

Will I have 10 ETH and 10 ETH2.0 after ETH2.0 launches?
Will metamask take care of this for me and show 10 ETH and 10 ETH2.0 in my wallet?

i did not know for having 10 ETH you will also get 10 ETH 2.0 for free and will be keeping the 10 ETH aswell??
