Linking to MEW on a PC

I have downloaded MetaMask and run it on Chrome.

I have then opened MEW on my PC and linked it to MEW on my mobile.

I then open the MetaMask extension and link it to MEW but it shows a random account number which does not correspond to my MEW account. How do I get MetaMask to link with the correct account?

Import MyEtherWallet (MEW) into MetaMask

Search that title on youtube. It helped me.
