Hey guys,
I accidentally as a new user sent fund from my Metamask wallet smart chain network to a polygon address, i didnt know i have to bridge using some other bridging sites so it ended up going to an address on blockchain network.
Here’s below details of the transaction:
Address sent to: Oxc2132D05D31c914a87C6611C10748AEb04B58e8F
No, if i own this address I would’ve got the money, thats the problem this address is listed on polygon as peg usd token, but on bsc its a private address. Is there a way we can reverse the transaction or maybe find a way to know the owner of this address so i can contact him directly!!.
This address had few accidental transactions and many ppl asking him to refund and his wallet has been changed he probably doesn’t know he got these funds
If the receiving address is associated with a non-custodial wallet, such as Metamask, you can recover the coins by changing the network configuration in the wallet or by importing your recovery phrase into a wallet that supports the polygon network. You must exercise extreme caution while importing your recovery phrase into another wallet and ensure that the wallet you choose is real.
Additionally, if you sent those coins to a custodial wallet, such as an exchange, you must contact the exchange’s support team, who will assist you.
