Metamask False Positive Phishing Warning

Hey everyone:

When someone goes to one of our websites with a MetaMask browser plugin active, it throws up a phishing warning and prevents the user from going there. But that’s a false positive.

Does anyone know who we can report this to so it can be looked at and removed?

Thanks.

Hi friend! @thepurple Welcome to the MetaMask community forums!
This should answer your question: https://metamask.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4428045875483-Error-Ethereum-Phishing-Detection-warning-when-connecting-wallet-to-a-site
Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Great! Now it’s simply a waiting game

Yup, definitely a waiting game. I am guessing that handling false positives is not high on the priority list since the Pull Request is still open.

There’s no indication on github of how long it usually takes to handle something like this. If anyone knows of a formal policy or have any experience of how long it usually takes to handle a false positive report I’d love to hear about it!

Thanks folks!
