Metamask.github.io phishing warning

Hello,
I’m using MetaMask with Firefox. Recently started getting occasional popups from Avast upon starting firefox. It says the following:

Threat secured, we’ve safely aborted connection because it was infected with URL:Phishing.

The file that it’s trying to run is apparently lockdown-install.js from MetaMask dot github dot io address, under the subdirectory ‘phishing-warning’

Is this a false flag, or is my browser compromised? Anyone know what this lockdown-install file does? Thanks in advance

Hello @Kaltias, welcome to MetaMask community!

Do not worry about that one, Avast is falsely flagging the phising warning page as a threat. It will be solved soon, it’s been reported and steps have been taken to correct it. Thank you for letting us know about it.
