Hello, I need some help regarding a transaction I made. I had a balance of BTC and ETH on BINANCE, however, I requested the withdrawal to my TrustWallet account. It turns out that when I went to log into my trustwallet account through the mobile app, they asked for the 12-word password, but the password I put in was the 12-word password for a MetaMask account, and even so the TRUSTWALLET accepted it and entered on my account. I unknowingly copied the link to my BTC wallet from the TRUSTWALLET and put it in when making the BINANCE transaction. I did the same with my ETH, copied the link to the ETH wallet from the TRUSTWALLET and pasted it in the transaction field BINANCE.
As there was this interconnection of the account between MetaMask and TRUSTWALLET, my ETHs ended up in the MetaMask account (which was not supposed to happen, as the correct thing would be in the TRUSTWALLET) and my BTC disappeared, I did not receive it either in the TRUSTWALLET wallet or at MetaMask. I need to know if there is any way to recover or find my BTC. PS: ID addresses are correct from BINANCE to TRUSTWALLET.
Hello @rafaelmelo1
I’m confused about it so you have ETH? and you can send them away…
12 words is not a password but a seed phrase and you must
have 12 words (seed phrase) from the Trust Wallet.
If you used BNB smart chain network or other network
you have to choose the right network in your wallet and add BTC token.
