Rune from gate to MetaMask

Trying to send Rune from gate to Metamask. Using BNB Smart Chain. Tried 4 times and it does not work. Says address invalid. I copied and pasted Meta to the withdrawal page on gate. Any ideas what I am missing?
is BNB/Bep2 chain the same as the BNB Smart chain? Is that what I am missing?

BNB Smart chain called bep20 .
MM does not support bep2 chains.
