Hello, I am totally new to all this. I had put some money into my metamask account on the BSC chain and connected it to the pancake.finance site. On the one hand I did swap BNB to CAKE, on the other hand somehow there were BNB sent to the address
0xd5ef2a8A1442C3a344fB5E8F6B3e57CB7660Be5f
which seems to be a pancake.finance site. One time 0,54 BNB and the second time 0,251 BNB. Then on my metamask account they got both dropped. After a lot of research and thinking I reset my metamask account since I thought it had something to do with the traffic on the blockchains. I did another swap from BNB to CAKE and it worked. But I still do not have gotten back my transactions of 0,54BNB and 0,251 BNB. What can I do or worse: can I do something or have I been hacked? Please be so kind as to provide me with an answer. Thank you.
Unfortunately, it is likely that you have interacted with a fake scam website, pancake.finance is not the official website for PancakeSwap. The official website for PancakeSwap is https://pancakeswap.finance/
Dear Winnie,
this is what I a was fearing. I am all new to this and altough I do a lot of research I did make this mistake. Is there any way that I can flag the address I unfortunately sent the money to so others can be aware of?
Thank you for your effort in replying me.
