Synchronizing Mobile Instructions Do Not Match

The mobile metamask instructions for synchronizing it with the metamask chrome extension do not match. The instructions read as follows Steps to Synch with Metamask Extention.

  1. Open the extension on Desktop
  2. Go To Settings> Advanced
  3. Click on “Synch with Mobile”
  4. Scan the QR code to start syncing
    The desktop Chrome extension does not show the option or step #3 and if you scan the QR code it does display an error. Wrong Network Address.
