Steps to sync with MetaMask extention

I’ve setup my wallet on my desktop computer, and trying to follow the directions to sync it with the app I’ve just downloaded. Step 1, of the instructions, says to “Open the extension on desktop”; Step 2, is “go to the settings > Advanced”, Step 3. is “Click on “Sync with Mobile””; Step 4 is “Scan the QR Code”.

I don’t see where I can open the extension on the desktop computer. If I go to my installed extensions, there is no settings section or any menu item I can find that has a QR code.

I’m using the Brave Browser. I feel like I’m missing something obvious, but I can’t seem to find a way of syncing them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@cwokral , welcome! The sync feature is only available only with mobile. It is not available from another extension to another.
You will need to use your 12 word seed phrase to restore your wallet on Brave.

Don’t share your seed phrase with anyone! Keep somewhere written down safe.
