Transferred tokens directly from trust wallet to metamask. Not showing up

Need help,
I transferred Cummies from trust wallet to my MetaMask copying my public address.
Bscscan shows it has been transferred but it’s not there! I didn’t convert the tokens to BNB first. Is this a must? I’ve installed the smart chain after the transfer to see if that helped, but it didn’t.
What to do?!!
All help is much appreciated!
