Could you provide some more context into this for us to understand the proposal better? Screenshots, specific cases, expalantions - anything like this helps.

On this screen I can’t paste in a value, at least not on iOS. I think it used to be possible so long as you typed at least one digit first that you could select and then paste over. I would prefer a specific paste button. I believe iOS will always prompt again to ask the user if they’re sure they want to paste from a different source so I think it should be safe to add this feature.
