Welcome to the MetaMask community. I advise you to read the following articles. The main thing is to securely hide your seed phrase and NEVER share it.

Ensure that when you create your wallet, dont save your seed phrase on your computer.

Yes, because if your device is compromised, there is always a risk of data leakage. It is better to store it in a physical format.
