Please add an option to permanently delete accounts created by mistake with “Add Account”. Currently, once an account is added, it cannot be deleted (only hidden) and in the extension it’s visible all the time, which is confusing and not ideal for users who accidentally touch it. It would be great to have a delete option so the account disappears from the list
Hello, if you create your wallet using the secret recovery phrase and then click on the add account option, a new address will be generated for you that cannot be deleted. Every time you enter this phrase, all of your addresses will be visible and accessible. However, if you import your wallet using the private key into MetaMask, you can delete those addresses. Then, using the add wallet option, you can either create a new address or import one.
Any address you create after entering your 12-word backup secret recovery phrase and clicking on the add account option will be linked to that phrase. You can access all of them without needing to copy the private key one by one, just by having the 12-word phrase. However, these addresses cannot be deleted as they are tied to your phrase. On the other hand, addresses imported using the private key can be deleted
