Description: Allow users to unlink or delete a wallet created through Google or Apple.
Purpose: This feature exists to let users who signed up with Google or Apple unlink or delete their connected wallet. In my case, my wallet has been compromised, and because I cannot link or delete it, my Apple account is effectively unusable.
Users not being able to fully reset or unlink a wallet feels like an oversight from MetaMask. I get that they want to keep things simple for most people, but if a wallet gets compromised, that simplicity turns into a problem. I didn’t lose anything, but I’m never using that wallet again. MetaMask should let users fully unlink a wallet by requiring them to write and confirm the seed phrase after which they can choose to unlink it from Google/Apple.
