Can't send assets from ledger account anymore

I use the desktop MetaMask browser extension with a ledger nano x. I’ve never had any problems sending my assets to other wallets before, but suddenly it doesn’t work anymore. For example if I try to send a bsc token to another wallet, the estimated gas fee always shows zero. If I continue the transaction shows up on my ledger and I can successfully confirm it (gas fee shown is still zero). Then I always get a message that the transaction failed. What could be problem? Thank your for your help.

Can you try removing the ledger account from your MetaMask wallet and redoing the connection and then try again?

Thanks for your answer. I found an option to reset the ledger account in the advanced MetaMask settings. I did it and now it works again! Thanks again.
