Does anyone know why I’ve been able to recover a metamask account using terrastation secret phrase?

This is likely because Terrastation uses the same derivation path.

Thanks Naked. I think because this has happened I’ve lost my wallet data, and dont have the recovery phrase. Tried everything.

Are you aware of any paid recovery services that could help me? I’m happy to pay I have the I’d and the wallet addresses.

Did you lose your recovery phrase for MetaMask or Terra Wallet? If it’s for your Terra Wallet, I would suggest reaching out to the Terra team. If it’s for your MetaMask wallet, you can try recovering it with Vault Decrpytor:

It’s a nightmare tbh. My document didnt save with phrase, then I entered the one I did have saved (terra) in which wiped browser data. No local data exists either. :frowning:

Hi @Crispy what operating system and browser do you use?

You cannot restore the old version of the file?
