Default wallet connection

Why MetaMask doesn’t support default wallet connection? Some dApps and platform doesn’t connect to MetaMask unless I set the wallet as default. Also many people cannot connect with MetaMask just because this feature doesn’t exist.

This will solve issues of not connecting to MetaMask through dApps, websites for many of the users.

This feature did exist, as shown here How to connect to a dapp | MetaMask Help Center 🦊♥️ - but I’ve tried on latest extension and see I can’t manually connect. I’ve got a message into the team to find out why.

To clarify, Are you trying this on extension or mobile?
