ETH Balance Not Showing Up

I sent ETH (ERC-20) to my MetaMask. Etherscan confirms the ETH was received. MetaMask shows the ETH was received but only in the “Past Activity” box. My balance in MetaMask reads 0. I cannot transfer the ETH out, or use it to pay fees. Any advice?
