I think you might be right 
I have a good paid anti-malware app on my computer, but something must have slipped through the cracks I guess, so now I lost money, unfortunate. I just tested it with 2 different but similar addresses, copied them and pasted them into my clipboard and they turned the same when pasted.
I’m new to crypto so this has been a bit of a rough start for me, but mistakes are to learn from.
