Fake MetaMask pop-up message

I am new on here. Processing: MetaImage.png…
In the last 3 days, I have had a pop-up whenever I sign in to MetaMask. Please see below for the message in quotes.

Can someone please confirm this is a genuine message from MetaMask?

‘‘protect your funds your secret recovery phrase controls all of your accounts. never share your secret recovery phrase with anyone the MetaMask team will never ask for your secret recovery phrase always keep your secret recovery phrase in a secure and secret place’’

Unfortunately, as a new User, MetaMask Community Admin system does not allow me to attach an image

If you have downloaded from the correct source, please send a screenshot of the pop-up in a reply.

Yes, I downloaded my MetaMask on the official website. I have been using it for a while now.

Please find attached a

screenshot. It may well, be that it is a legitimate warning message but non of my friends I have spoken to has had this pop-up.
