Funds not showing up after I switch eth to polygon(matic)

Hello everyone

Recently I joined metamask I tried to purchase a nft piece so it ask me to swap my eth to polygon(matic) after doing so my funds never showed up n I also never got to buy the nft
Transaction shows up on etherscan it’s now been 5 hours please HELP
