GWEI field reacts very slow

Hi guys

I wonder if this is a known error.
I have gas control on in my metamask so that I directly can change GWEI and gas limit within the transaction. I installed metamask 9.2.1 on my new laptop and with this the gwei field reacts very very slow. That means when I click into the field and type in another value nothing happens for several seconds. Then after approx. 20 seconds the new value appears. Its kinda dangerous because I almost confirmed a transaction with a way to high gwei because I didn’t see the total after typing in.

On my old laptop I have metamask 9.2.0 installed and with this gwei changes instantly while typing in.

Is this a known issue?

Thank you for reporting this. Can you please provide what device & OS you’re using & encountering this issue?

I’m using a MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) with Big Sur 11.1 (20C69).

Interestingly when I use Metamask in a separate tab this error doesn’t occur.
