I transfer to the wrong address

I transfer my Eth MetaMask to my Ronin Wallet but I transfer with only the send thing, i didn’t use the Ronin Bridge. So before i sent it i remove the “ronin:” infront for my ronin address because it says recipent address unable. So, I sent it in the same address as my ronin address but in MetaMask wallet. It receives in etherscan and it’s not weth, it’s eth on other account that i’ve sent.

I also give information on how to do the transfer correctly using a Bridge, not a direct Transfer. Read the whole thread.

Hello, I already sent it using metamask but I think my ronin wallet address does have the same address on metamask because i just use the send thing not the ronin bridge. so my ethereum from metamask goes to another metamask address which is the same address from my ronin wallet. It succeed the transaction and my ethereum goes to that address. please help me.

You have to add your ronin wallet to metamask to be able to see your coins on the Ethereum Mainnet Network.

Follow the steps I explained on the other post to add your ronin wallet to Metamask and you will eb able to see your coins and send them back or use bridge to send them to the correct network.

As long as you don’t keep it in your computer and you only used it to import your wallet you are ok.

Use a strong password on metamask and if you are using the mobile version, set up biometric verification.

If you really are serious about crypto, invest in a hardware wallet, it’s only 100-150usd and you will have your savings safe. I think it is worth it, specially if you have a lot of money in your wallet.

You sent the money to the contract address.

I do not know how to recover the money from there. I don’t think you can to be honest. Sorry.

I would submit a ticket to Ronin to see if they can do anything.

You sent to the Axie Infinity: Ronin Bridge contact address, so Metamask has nothing to do there.

It needs to be Ronin who could help you retrieve it.

Just have the transaction hash available to show them your mistake and see if they can retrieve it.
