Incorrect locale information provided -Can not open chrome extension

If i use the first option that revert back to earlier version, how about my extension data, is that going to be cleared?

Will the first method clear the extentions data?

After several trials, i was able to install it on chrome changing the following settings in the chrome web store (BEFORE INSTALLING THE EXTENSION).

Set language to: English
And Location to: United States

Changing language direct at chrome panel, doesnt work…
