Keyring API in Metamask Extension (Not Flask)

Hi there everyone. I have built a Snap which uses the Keyring API to create and store new accounts in MM as well as use some Account Abstraction functionalities. I am confused if I can install this snap (I have already published this to NPM) in my main MetaMask (Orange) and not only in MM Flask.

Is there any whitelist process or simply anyone can install any snap from NPM which uses Keyring API?
