No, it is not in Matic Wallet or bridge 
I did check both.
After the test, I can see the $23 eth I transferred in my Matic wallerā¦ but nothing else
Something strange just happened, the $100 ETH I transferred is no longer showing in my Metamask ???
I checked the transaction history, nothing thereā¦ this is so strange.
Now I am thinking this is a ghost in my Metamask!

I was trying to shift MATIC from Eth. to Matic Mainnet also, however, when I open the Matic Wallet Bridge, to make the transfer, it has some strange coins in the dropdown menu, Coins such PENUS, GOHOTLOVE etc. This immediately rang some ALARM bells for me and I quickly aborted and disconnected my wallet. I have tried a few times but still seem to end up at the place which seems a little dodgy.
I have requested Matic support to take a look, can anyone shed some light on this, before any one else loses there coinsā¦

your case is really weird, i tried to come up with different possible solutions but it seems it deosnt work and after reading your last post i think you got hacked. this is why i think that.
I dont know where you stored your seed phrase but probably someone got them and now they literally have acccess to your wallet.
sorry that i didnt have good news but your last post confirmed what i though at the very beginning, didnt want to jump in conclusion since the process of transferring tokens from ether mainnet to matic mainnet is kinda knew a glitches can happened.
My advice, dont use that walllet anymore please.
so thatās not a problem, those tokens exist in your wallet you probably dont see them by default but you can add them manually, how and why you got those tokens? . probably you got them from an airdrop that you submitted before or someone just sent them to you.
You can confirm this info by adding those tokens in your wallet if you want, but when you use the matic bridge you can see all tokens are allocated in your ethereum wallet.

The initial Matic transfer was pendingā¦ and after I reset the account I could not see or trace anything.

sorry bro, i wish i was wrong but so many coincidences that cant be ignore, specially after you said about your 100 dollars eth, if you have a transaction as pending you still can reversed the process as long as you have access to the log and the process is still pending . You could had sent it by mistake to that strange wallet if you copy and paste a wallet that would explain how your tokens ended up in a different wallet but how can we explain that your 100 dollars eth were sent to the SAME STRANGE WALLET and you didnt do it, that only means who ever owns that wallet has access to your wallet.
thats is the link of the STRANGE WALLET, you can see in the latest transaction is when it receives your $ 100 eth in this wallet and you can see $100 ish on eth stiing in that wallet.
honestly, your last post changed everything.

Thankyou, so just like we get spam emails we also get spam coins sent to our wallet? ( which is a publicly available address?) That makes sense, however, what benefit could the sender hope to achieve? Is this an attempt to hack my wallet or does my wallet remain secure?
Yeah think like some kind of publicity, about the purpose well I havenāt heard anything about hacking account throughout tokens. I donāt think thatās possible.
Same reason why airdrops exist, to have holders who potential can trade the token so that it can increase the price. It sound weird but in my own experience, I got tokens with 0 value and they were sitting in my wallet for a couple of years and last time I checked one of those wallets I found out some of them have some value. ($400) in tokens I never bought just simple airdrop. Think about bitcoin, before It didnāt worth a penny till some holders trade them. Like the guy who got thousands of btc just becuase order pizza to a BTC holder.

Connect your metamask and look to see if you have WETH ON MATICS WEBSITE NOT IN METAMASK. You should from my observations have about .40 WETH in there atm. Now since Ether has dropped a shit ton in price your $2k is now only worth about 900$. Please let me know if this helped lol !

I did search for POS- WETH (I tried to change the bridge more than once in Matic) nothing worked.
I donāt see any balance.
I has $100 of ETH and 1976 Maticā¦ and earlier I transferred $23
now I donāt have any balanceā¦ all my balance in Matic Wallet AND in Metamask (This wallet I donāt use anymore, just in case).
So sad, Iāve tried a million thingsā¦ but I sure donāt give up

I am very new to crypto myself so all of this is a thought exercise for me. Your funds may be lost but I donāt think they are. I think they are āsafelyā in your MATIC wallet. You may have actually been hacked. Do you know what dusting is? Did anyone send you any random crypto funds that you sold off? If so then you very well may have been hacked but I donāt think so as that other āstrange addresssā is being used often enough it makes me think its like a holding wallet for one of the exchanges to use in cases like yours!
You are just transferring the funds incorrectly. Stop that please lol. What you are doing is sending MATIC tokens from the ETHERIUM network to the POLYGON/MATIC NETWORK this network distinction is crucial! This is causing your funds to bounce around different exchanges trying to convert it for you. Your MATIC WALLET is only good on the POLYGON/MATIC network. Hence the bridge. The bridge is the proper way to move funds from one network to the other.
I was able to get my information from the transaction hash you provided. That transaction hash has TONS of other addresses you can open, so I did. I opened them all in the order that they were listed and this created a path I could follow. Where I loose track of your funds is after it leaves UNISWAP V3 because it has been transfer to the MATIC network, I assumed that when you sent it, it created a new wallet for you and that is where your funds are. All of this will be answered with a screenshot of your MATIC wallet not metamask!
Search exactly here for the Pos WETH if it is not there then im at a loss my friend, hope it is tho!

Eh that is not good newsā¦ Can you post your polygon address so I can view itās history on polygonscan? Your MATIC goes from the address you sent them too, through uniswap and back to that same address as WETH. I can not see where go after that. So you no longer have MATIC. Where ever it is, last I can see it was converted into WETH.
Hi, Iāve similar problem. Iāve sent Matic tokens to metamask using Matic chain, from binance, but tokens donāt appear on metamask wallet. This was the transaction, can anybody help?
