Meta Mask High Gas Limit?

Meta Mask is setting to an unusually high gas limit when trying to Renew my name through the Ethereum Naming Service. Meta Mask is accurately estimating gas costs for all other transactions on all other sites I use. But when trying to do a transaction on https://ens.domains/ the high gas limit is setting itself to 6281462 . I have tried chatting with ens support through Discourse with no luck. Can anyone please advise? Thanks
