Why won’t MetaMask upgrade its wallet infrastructure to use MPC for better security?

Not at all. MetaMask is a self-custodial wallet.

Snaps allows for developers to bring there own features and APIs to MetaMask with Snaps.

If you have a specific feature request, you can post it under the ‘Feature Requests’ section. This current post is under Developer Discussion so sharing some info that would appeal to the dev side for this reason.
