Step to reproduce:
- On “Tokens” tab click on Ethereum token on Arbitrum as an example.
- Click on the “3 dots” right above and select “View Asset on Explorer”
The url opened is gonna be the wallet page on etherscan.
Also since we have now the “enabled chains”, the “View on Explorer” on the wallet itself (hamburger icon right on top) is always opening on etherscan, which again is very frustrating because I was using that quite a lot to open the wallet on each chain.
Can’t you at least make it like “a dropdown in the dropdown” that let’s you select multiple explorers (the one that you enabled maybe)?
Or just go back to how it was before which was imho much better than this?
I also noticed is quite slow and laggy, you should not apply the changes as soon as the user add a chain because I guess adding and removing tokens from the list is an heavy operation? Maybe you can just refresh once the user closes the dropdown.
Hi and thank you for providing this feedback. When you press “View on explorer” on the hamburger icon it now opens the Multichain Portfolio on etherscan where it displays all the tokens found across all chains supported on that portfolio. You can still get to each token on that network’s respective explorer if you click on it at the bottom of the page where they are listed. (Under: “Showing X tokens with a value of $X”).
Regarding the laggy experience would you please reach out to our support team here at https://support.metamask.io/ so they can take a closer look into what might be causing this for you? Thank you very much!
