Why it is important: This would significantly improve security by preventing malicious apps or accidental captures from recording sensitive data, such as seed phrases or private keys.
Many banking and high-security apps already have this “Secure Window” flag enabled.

It should already do that. (heres an example screenshot from my mobile. Cant upload a video here, but its blocking the password entry and SRP screens, as expected.)
I would like to suggest adding a mandatory feature to block screenshots and screen recording within the MetaMask mobile app, especially when sensitive information like the Secret Recovery Phrase or Private Keys is displayed.
Why this is critical:
Industry Standard: Almost all major banking and fintech applications (like Revolut, PayPal, or local banking apps) already use the FLAG_SECURE (on Android) or similar methods to prevent screen capturing. As a leading crypto wallet, MetaMask should not lag behind these security standards.
Protection against Malware: This feature would protect users from sophisticated malware that silently captures the screen to steal sensitive data.
Prevention of Accidental Exposure: It prevents users from accidentally saving their seed phrase to their phone’s photo gallery, which often automatically syncs to unencrypted cloud storage (Google Photos, iCloud).
Even if it doesn’t prevent someone from taking a physical photo with another device, it closes a major digital security gap. Please consider making this a priority.

Confirming with some others that this is already a feature in iOS (it should be, but im on Android so cant confirm its blocking as expected on iOS), but i just tried to capture screenshots and recordings on Android, and was only able to get the correctly blacked out screen for both. (as noted in my previous post)
Are you able to capture a screenshot of the password or SRP screens?
Which version of android and MM are you running? These features should have been active for quite a while. (EG: even a much older version of MM or android shouldnt allow you to screenshot or record those screens)
Im sure you’re already aware, but its probs worth repeating JIC. Never share your SRP/private keys/ etc.
