Description:
When I visit a website through MetaMask Mobile, the app often redirects me to my device’s default browser instead of keeping me inside MetaMask’s built-in browser. This breaks the flow and prevents me from using decentralized applications (DApps) directly within MetaMask.
It would be very useful to have a feature or setting that ensures all DApp interactions remain inside the MetaMask app, without being forced into an external browser. This would improve usability, security, and the overall Web3 experience on mobile.
Purpose: Prevent MetaMask from opening external browser and allow full DApp usage inside the app

Hi and thank you very much for providing this feedback and feature request. Does this happen with most of the platforms you frequently use? Could you please provide some examples maybe as I tried some on my end everything worked as intended, might be something with those dapps’ integrations.

I use with poco x3 pro and when i go to a dapp it redirect me to the main Android browser i think it’s a critical issue and need ti ne solved
For exemple when i go to
Ethana dot fi
With MetaMask
When i clic toi launch the dapp it open firefox outside MetaMask it’s really annoying

I tried it now and it seems to work fine for me (normal expected behavior I wasn’t redirected to another browser app) so it may be something device specific or some settings issue, would you please contact our support team here at https://support.metamask.io/ > Start a Conversation so they can take a closer look into what might be causing this issue for you? i still have the same issue i’m on android i have a poco x3 pro and firefox as a brother
when i go to MetaMask portfolio.MetaMask .io/explore/tokens
and i select an app it open on firefox or chrome outside the browser
please try on real different phone you will get the same issue
on base app i don’t have this issue
