Problem finding specific address on my Trezor One

I’ve connected my Trezor One to MetaMask and I’m looking for a specific address that my Trezor One generated for me that contains €100 in ETH. I went to Bit2me to send it to my Trezor One cold wallet, but I didn’t have it configured to send it over the Polygon network and it’s not showing up in my Trezor One. I’ve tried everything and there’s no way, can someone help me because it’s not appearing among the first +100 addresses. How can I find it precisely?

When you connect your hardware wallet to MetaMask, you should get a list of addresses on your Trezor. If you recognize the wallet address in that list, you can add just that wallet. If not, it’s going to take a bit more work to find it.

Do you know which network the ETH was sent to? (It should appear in the transfer details when you sent it from the exchange. It should also show the address you sent it to in that transaction.)

Knowing which chain the ETH was sent to will help if you’re unsure which address is correct. You’ll probably need to add several and then use a block explorer to check the tokens on each address. https://blockscan.com can also be a useful tool (search across different blockchains at once, which can help reveal which network the funds were sent to if you’re not sure).

We ask users not to share personal information on social media (such as the transaction hash or your wallet address), but that information could help us determine the address where your ETH is stored. We invite you to contact us in our support chat where we can request that information to help you: https://support.MetaMask.io > “Contact Support” button. The bot will ask you some questions.

thank you for answering so quickly but it was sent over the Polygon network, and I have the address without any problem, which is the one my Trezor One created, and I checked BLOCKSCAM with the address that my Trezor One created and it shows that the 100€ are on the Polygon network, but I don’t know how to see it in my Trezor when I connect it with MetaMask thousands of addresses appear in groups of 5 and looking carefully I’ve gotten to address 4000 and I haven’t seen the address, I don’t understand how there’s no search function and I especially don’t understand how so many addresses can be created with 0€ when I’ve barely done any operations since I’m new, how can I get straight to the point so my Trezor quickly finds that address with the 100€ ETH that are on the Polygon network

Hi! You need to verify several things, as Hiro mentioned above. When you connect your Trezor to your MetaMask wallet, you’ll see the option to select an account. You can check this article with detailed information How to connect a Trezor, Ledger, or other hardware wallet to MetaMask | MetaMask Help Center. Once you select the correct account, make sure to select the Polygon network and import the ETH token if it doesn’t appear by default. Please check if that account you mentioned actually appears in your Trezor. The best approach is to disconnect the device from your MetaMask wallet and verify each of the following points:

  • Your Trezor has the latest firmware and the MetaMask extension is up to date.
  • Use only compatible browsers (Chrome). Try both and also in incognito/private mode.
  • Clear your browser cache and make sure it’s up to date.
  • Using a VPN, certain advanced firewall or antivirus configurations, or browser extensions (AdBlock, Privacy Badger, etc.) can cause connectivity issues; therefore, try disabling them as well. Use only one application/website/browser tab with Trezor at a time. They may interfere with each other.
