Safely removing metamask from computer

Hi,

I was wondering if it’s safe to sell a pc on which a metamask wallet was used and restore the wallet on a new pc.
If I remove the extention and the browser, is that enough to be safe or will there remain information on the pc that can be restored (eg with Vault Decryptor or other tools) so that the buyer of the pc can get access to metamask funds on the sold pc?

Or is it just better to create a new wallet with a new address on the new pc?

I would wipe the computer clean and reset to factory settings before selling the pc, that way no vault data is remaining. But for peace of mind, you can also create a new wallet on your new pc.
