Recently there are several vulnerabilities in Chrome, due to sandbox being escaped, resulting in the ability to execute arbitrary commands in the user’s terminal, I think this vulnerability should also be able to read the data in the Metamask plugin, and when Metamask is in the unlocked state, I guess the attacker should be able to read my private key information.
I hope we can add the feature of manually locking the wallet to keep the private key safe when the user is not using Metamask.
I may be missing something but you can always hit the “Lock” button to manually lock your wallet. Just click the Circle icon and it’s right at the top next to “My Accounts”.
