I’ve been using MetaMask for a short time. A small amount of ETH and USDC is stored on it. I want to link a hardware wallet to my MetaMask account. I have a choice: Ledger Nano S, Trezor One, Keystone essential, which one is better for this? I want to first remove MetaMask, then restore its seed phrase in the hardware wallet, then install MetaMask again and link the wallet. Is it possible to do this, will the balance between ETH and USDC be maintained?
What kind of hardware wallet do you have? I wouldn’t do that.
It is better to have one seed phrase for the MetaMask and one for the hardware wallet.
