Hi there
The MetaMask browser extension only displays wBTC to 3 decimal places instead of 8… which makes people think they have way less USD value than they do. Even if you custom add the token, it says 8 but still only shows 3.
For example, this customer was sent 0.00194 wBTC ($111.36) but because the browser extension only shows 3 decimals, it tells him he only has 0.001 wBTC worth roughly $57
It would appear that the Mobile app displays wBTC correctly, just not the extension!
We get daily complaints about this and have had to make support articles explaining this bug to people! MetaMask shows less wBTC than I expected | Axion Support Center
