Converting ETH to BNB

Hi, I am new please someone help me. I have spent over 40 dollars sending my money back and forth from my ETH wallet to Metamask and back and over 5 hours trying to convert my ETH into BNB, Metamask only gives me the iBNB and sBNB options. I don’t understand why. I am trying to send it to pancakeswap which also won’t let me use ETH nor swapt it there.
