Chrome Browser Not Working


I’ve had the Chrome browser extension for a number of years and everything has worked perfectly up until maybe a week ago. I can login to my wallet to see my balances no problem, but I cannot connect to any websites. When I try to connect either nothing happens or it asks me to install MetaMask, even though the Extension is active and I’m logged in:


To add, I have removed the extension and reinstalled, connecting my wallet again, but doesn’t seem to have worked. Chrome is up to date and MetaMask is now a fresh install.

Hello and welcome to the MetaMask community!
Do you have any other extensions, if that’s the case, could you try to pause the other extensions and just keep MetaMask, that’s all I can think of at the moment!
