Deleting Firefox extension for security?

Hello, I transfered my tokens from coinbase to MetaMask wallet (on MacOS Firefox) for longterm storage (years).

I don’t touch my crypto for alteast 8 years.

I backed up my seed & private key from the account in a secure place and on multiple media formats.

I checked if recovery is possibel from another computer on a linux live-boot DVD (so nothing permanent).

Does deleting your MetaMask extension make you safer (like cold wallet safe) ?

or does it not mather at all, and i’m just fooling myself

If you saved your seed phrase and no one got to it and you are sure of it, then you are safe.
