MetaMask browser extension eats 25% CPU constantly. Why?
I’m trying to contact support here: support .MetaMask .io but Link “Contact support” does nothing.
I’m betting you are using firefox?
There was a similar issue corrected in versions after 13.11.2, but Mozilla has been slow to release the more recent versions. 13.15 is current version on chromium browsers, and should fix the high cpu load issue. Most recent version should be updated on Firefox soon. Adblockers are the most common reason the Contact Support button doesnt correctly load the chat window. Might try from another brower/profile.
If you’re not using Firefox, we’ll definitely want to grab some more details to help identify the cause, but we only have ticketing through our support site, and ask people not to post much detail on public social platforms, for security.
