I can't add the USDC token on the ethereum network

I sent money in the USDC token (erk-20) to the ethereum network and the token was not added in the network. In the same wallet I had the BSC network configured and there I had the USDC token. USDC in the ethereum network I figure that the token is already added and I cannot see my funds sent. When I check my wallet address in eterscan, the amount of money in that token appears. But it is impossible for me to add it. I cannot add it either. pasting the contract address. It always tells me that the token is added but I can’t see it. Please someone help me

I apologize for the trouble with adding your USDC token. Please try viewing the token on CoinGecko and selecting the MetaMask fox icon next to the contract address.

If you still receive the same error, try removing the token on the BSC network adding it back. This will not remove the tokens from your address/account in any way.
