I sent cryptos but didn't appear

Hello guys,

I’ve sent today 5 dollars aprox to bnb chain and polygon but never appeared. I check both scan pages and its says that most of the money it’s fee.

Can you help me with this? Thank you

We’ll be able to help you more efficiently if you provide as much details as possible.

How did you transfer the funds? Which bridge? What are the txs of those two transactions?

Bridges charge fees so that might be why you’ve received less funds.

You can see here that you received the full amount:

However, as soon as those funds reached your wallet, they were instantly transferred to another wallet in this tx: BNB Smart Chain Transaction Hash (Txhash) Details | BscScan

This is the behaviour we would see from a “sweeper bot” which is what your wallet sadly is infected with (https://support.metamask.io/hc/en-us/articles/12091923128347-Sweeper-bots-scripts). It instantly transfers funds out once an infected address receives them.
I’d strongly encourage you not to send any more funds to your wallet and get in touch with the MetaMask support team.

OH :frowning: There is a solution for this or I’ve lost all my cryptos that I’ve sent today?

The funds that have been sent by the sweeper bot can sadly not be retrieved. Sorry about that. Please get in touch with the support team, if you wish to figure out where it went wrong and they’ll also be able to guide you on how to get your remaining funds out of the risk zone.

Please reach out to MetaMask Support.

  • This will connect you to a bot at first, answer some questions and it will open a ticket for you with an agent.

Remember - NOBODY, including from support, will ask for your secret recovery phrase or for you to input it onto any website for confirmation.

Thank you! I have a question, If a create new meta mask account the problem it’s solved?

You would have to make a new seed phrase. This new seed phrase would not be affected by the sweeper bot.
