Does that mean all my Crypto that is connected to this MetaMask account will be in trouble too?

If they have access to your private key or your 12 word recovery phrase, then yes, they have access to your wallet with all the crypto.

If they haven’t cleared it already, send your crypto to a new wallet ASAP.
